Analyzing Water Diversion Demand For Irrigation Areas at LowerReach of Yellow River with BP Neural Network Techniques

Abstract：Artificial neural network is a brand-new modeling technique, and BP algorithm is the mostcommonly used method. The basic principle of neural network and BP algorithm is introduced, and anartificial neural network model for water diversion demand estimate is developed. Case study indicatesthat the model is feasible and reliable, and provides a basic theory and a practical technique to estimatewater diversion demand for irrigation areas at lower reaches of the Yellow River.
