An Experimental Study on Geotextiles used as Sub-drain Pipe Filters in Yinbei Drainage Project in Ningxia

Abstract：The permeability of 12 types of geotextiles, used as sub-drain pipe filters, were tested andcompared under two kinds of soils sampled from Ningxia Yinbei Drainage Project area. The prelimi-narily selected geotextiles, based on the test results, will be further tested and evaluated in fields andthese experimental data will be important reference for selection of proper filters for Yinbei DrainageProject area.
