Relationship between P53,nm 23 and PCNA expressions in tissues of squamous cell carcinoma and adenocarcinoma of lung and lymph node metastasis
Abstract:Objective:To study the relationships between P53,nm23 and PCNA expressions in tissues of squamous cell carcinoma and adenocarcinoma of lung and lymph node metastasis. Methods:The expressions of P53,nm23 and PCNA in 86 patients with lung cancer were studied with S-P immunohistochemical methods. Results:The positive expression rates of P53,nm23 and PCNA in tissues of lung cancer were 57.0%,73.3% and 82.5% respectively. The expressions of P53 and nm23 in squamous cell carcinoma were not different from those in adenocarcinoma(P53:58.7% vs 52.2%;nm23:74.6% vs 69.6%;P>0.05),while that of PCNA had a significant difference between them(92.1% vs 56.5%,P<0.01).In tissues of lung cancer with or without lymph node metastasis, the positive expression rates of P53,nm23 and PCNA also had no difference(P53:51.1% vs 51.2%;nm23:88.9% vs 95.1%;PCNA:80% vs 90.2%;P<0.05).Conclusion:The expressions of P53,nm23 and PCNA in tissues of lung cancer had no relation to lymph node metastasis.
