Transcription and expression of bcl-x gene in two cell lines of nasopharyngeal carcinoma
Abstract：Objective：To study the transcription and expression of apoptosis-related gene bcl-x in two cell lines of human nasopharyngeal carcinoma（NPC）．Methods：Total RNA was isolated from NPC cells in high differentiation（CNE-1）and low differentiation（CNE-2z）cell lines with Trizol kit．Transcription and protein level of bcl-x were detected by RT-PCR and western blot，respectively．Results：transcription and expression of bcl-xL were detected in both cell lines，while those of bcl-xS were not．Conclusion：Bcl-xLwas expressed in high and low differentiation NPC cell lines，but its expression may be unrelated to the degree of cell differentiation．
