Abstract:Objective To evaluate the clinical efficacy of recombinant human growth hormone(rHGH)combined with gonadotropin-releasing hormone agonist(GnRHa)in treating girls with central precocious puberty(CPP)and to in-vestigate its effects on their growth and development. Methods A total of 97 girls with CPP treated between March 2020 and June 2022 were enrolled and randomly divided into a control group(n=43)receiving vitamin D plus GnRHa,and a study group(n=54)receiving rHGH plus GnRHa.Outcomes included bone metabolism markers, uterine volume, sex hormone levels, ovarian volume, follicle diameter, adverse reactions, and overall clinical efficacy. Results The total effective rate in the study group was significantly higher than in the control group(81.48%vs.60.46%,P<0.05).Post-treatment levels of estradiol(E2),insulin-like growth factor-1(IGF-1),luteinizing hormone(LH),and fol-licle-stimulating hormone(FSH)were significantly lower in the study group(P<0.05).Bone metabolism markers in-cluding N-terminal middle osteocalcin(N-MID)and N-terminal propeptide of type Ⅰ procollagen(PINP)were also significantly reduced in the study group compared to controls(P<0.05).In addition, the study group showed smaller u-terine volume, ovarian volume, and follicle diameter(P<0.05).Growth-related indicators such as bone age(BA),growth velocity(CV),and height standard deviation score(HtSDS)were significantly lower in the study group(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse effects was also lower in the study group(P<0.05).Conclusion Combined therapy with rHGH and GnRHa is effective in treating girls with CPP,improving clinical outcomes by delaying development,re-ducing sex hormone levels, and promoting healthier growth patterns. This therapeutic strategy is worthy of clinical promo-tion.
