Abstract:Autism spectrum disorder(ASD)is a common neurodevelopmental disorder characterized primarily by social communication impairments, stereotyped behaviors, and restricted interests.Currently, effective interventions targe-ting core symptoms remain lacking. In recent years,anesthesia-related neuromodulatory approaches have shown growing therapeutic potential in the treatment of ASD.To standardize the clinical application of comprehensive anesthesia therapy in children with ASD,a panel of multidisciplinary experts in China developed this consensus based on clinical experience and cutting-edge research. The document outlines indications, contraindications, treatment principles, intervention pro-tocols,and multidisciplinary collaboration frameworks. It recommends a low-concentration sevoflurane inhalation-based intervention protocol, combined with stellate ganglion block, neuromodulation techniques, behavioral rehabilitation train-ing,and traditional Chinese medicine modalities, forming a multimodal integrated therapeutic system. The release of this consensus aims to promote the standardized, systematic, and evidence-based application of comprehensive anesthesia therapy in ASD interventions.
