Abstract:Objective To evaluate the clinical efficacy of intrauterine infusion of platelet-rich plasma(PRP)and granulocyte colony-stimulating factor(G-CSF)by comparing pregnancy outcomes of frozen-thawed embryo trans-fer(FET)cycles in infertile patients with thin endometrium. Methods A retrospective analysis was conducted on 51 FET cycles treated with autologous PRP.The PRP group was further subdivided based on endometrial thickness(<7 mm and ≥7 mm)to compare clinical outcomes.Cycles with endometrial thickness<7 mm were also compared with 61 con-trol cycles(no intervention)and 30 cycles treated with intrauterine G-CSF infusion. Results Among patients receiving PRP,the endometrial thickness was 6.50 mm in the<7 mm group, with 44.45%having moderate to severe intrauterine adhesions, compared to 7.90 mm and 27.27%in the ≥7 mm group. There were no statistically significant differences in clinical pregnancy rate(27.78%vs.30.30%)or embryo implantation rate(20.0%vs.22.73%)between the two sub-groups.A significantly higher proportion of patients in the PRP(<7 mm)group had a history of intrauterine adhesions(83.33%)compared to the control(49.18%)and G-CSF(50.0%)groups.The three groups had comparable endom-etrial thickness before embryo transfer. The clinical pregnancy rates in the control,PRP,and G-CSF groups were 26.23%,27.78%,and 20.0%,respectively,and implantation rates were 20.2%,20.0%,and 13.3%,respectively,with no statistically significant differences among the groups. Conclusion Intrauterine infusion of PRP may offer potential clinical value in FET for patients with severely thin endometrium.
