Abstract:Aphasia is an acquired language disorder resulting from damage to the brain's language centers, which severely impairs patients'ability to communicate and impacts their daily lives. This paper reviews the latest advances in applying artificial intelligence(AI)technologies to the diagnosis and treatment of aphasia.Specifically,it discusses three key areas:(1)the development of intelligent computer systems for aphasia management using machine learning;(2)the utilization of brain-machine interface techniques to extract phonemic features from speech imagery;and(3)the applica-tion of natural language processing to facilitate language expression and comprehension, along with investigations into the neural mechanisms of language function. This review underscores the significant role of AI in managing aphasia and aims to provide valuable insights for both academic research and clinical practice.
