Abstract:Objective To analyze the mental and psychological status of medically observed isolated individuals in the post-pandemic era and explore the effectiveness of solution-focused psychological intervention for isolated individ-uals.Methods A total of 211 isolated individuals and 42 staff members in a medical observation isolation hotel in Zhan-jiang were randomly selected for PHQ-9,GAD-7,and ISI questionnaire surveys.Focus solution-based psychological intervention was conducted for 35 isolated individuals, and their psychological status was analyzed. Results Among the medically observed isolated individuals, the positive screening rates for PHQ-9,GAD-7,and ISI were 18.5%,12.3%,and 22.3%,respectively.For staff members, the positive screening rates for PHQ-9,GAD-7,and ISI were 33.3%,9.5%,and 52.4%,respectively.Gender differences in sleep and anxiety conditions among isolated individuals were statistically significant(P<0.05),with females scoring higher than males in both aspects.Gender differences in anxiety and depression conditions among staff members were statistically significant(P<0.05),with females scoring higher in these two aspects. There was no statistically significant age difference in anxiety and depression conditions among staff members, but there was a statistically significant age difference in sleep conditions(P<0.05).Sleep conditions were poorest for those aged 26-35 years(9.83±6.506),followed by those over 55 years(7.80±5.007).Solution-focused psychological intervention for isolated individuals with positive symptoms on PHQ-9,GAD-7,and ISI scales revealed significant improvement in anxiety and depression conditions, but no significant improvement in sleep conditions(P<0.05).Conclusion In the post-pandemic era, some isolated individuals and staff members experience mental health problems, with females and middle-aged to elderly individuals being more prone to psychological issues.Solution-focused psychological intervention has a significant effect on the psychological well-being of isolated individuals during the epidemic.
