Effects of white blood cell count,hs-CRP and IL-6 levels on ventricular remodeling after PCI in patients with acute ST segment elevation myocardial infarction

Abstract：Objective To investigate the effects of white blood cell(WBC)count,hypersensitive C-reactive protein(hs-CRP)and interleukin(IL)-6 levels on ventricular remodeling after percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI)in patients with acute ST segment elevation myocardial infarction(STEMI).Methods The clinical data of 80 patients with STEMI from January 2020 to January 2022 were analyzed retrospectively.All patients underwent emergency PCI.The patients were divided into ventricular remodeling group and non ventricular remodeling group according to wheth-er there was ventricular remodeling 6 months after operation.The general data and serum WBC count,hs-CRP,and IL-6 of the two groups were compared.Multivariate logistic regression analysis was used to analyze the factors affecting ventricular remodeling in patients with STEMI after PCI.Create receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve,and ana-lyze the predictive value of serum WBC count,hs-CRP,and IL-6 detection on ventricular remodeling in STEMI pa-tients after PCI.Results The WBC count,hs-CRP,and IL-6 in the ventricular remodeling group were higher than those in the non ventricular remodeling group(P＜0.05).Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that serum WBC count,hs-CRP and IL-6 were the influencing factors of ventricular remodeling in patients with STEMI after PCI(P＜0.05).ROC curve showed that the combined detection of serum WBC count,hs-CRP,and IL-6 had a high pre-dictive value for ventricular remodeling in patients with STEMI after PCI(P＜0.05).Conclusion Serum WBC count,hs-CRP and IL-6 are important factors that affect ventricular remodeling in patients with STEMI after PCI.
