Abstract:Objective To investigate the short term efficacy of the percutaneous mechanical thrombectomy (PMT) combined with catheter directed thrombolytic on the low extremity deep venous thrombosis (DVT).Methods Twenty-one cases of DVT underwent PMT+CDT therapy (observation group) and 31 cases of DVT underwent CDT alone therapy (control group) were collected for analysis. Results Fifteen patients in the observation group obtained Grade Ⅲ thrombolysis. Total recovery, partial recovery and inefficacy were observed in 18, 1 and 2 cases, respectively, in observation group. Meanwhile, 10 patients in control group obtained Grade Ⅲ thrombolysis. Total recovery, acceptable recovery, partial recovery and inefficacy were observed in 11, 5, 14 and 1 cases, respectively, in control group. The difference between the 2 groups had statistical significance. Conclusion PMT+CDT has better therapeutic outcomes, shorter thrombolysis time, less urokinase and shorter hospital stay.
