Effects of clinical continuous care on the patients with instillation after bladder cancer operation

Abstract：Objective To observe the effect of continuous nursing care on patients with instillation after bladder cancer operation .Methods A hundred cases patients from the Department of Urology Surgery in Sichuan province with the first time transurethral plasmakinetic resection and postoperative instillation were randomly divided into the control group and experimental group ( n=50 ) .Routine nursing care and clinical continuous care service were given to control group and the experimental group , respectively .The knowledge of diseases , general self-efficacy scale score , psycholog-ical status, complications, and quality of life were compared at the 1st, 6th and 12th month.Results Compared with the control group , the disease knowledge , self-rating anxiety scale and self -rating depression scale scores in experimental group were significantly increased at the 1st month (P<0.05), but the overall quality of life score was significantly re-duced (P<0.05).At the 6th and 12th month, the disease knowledge, self-efficacy scale score and overall quality of life scores were significantly improved in experimental group a (P<0.05, P<0.01), as self-rating anxiety scale and self -rating depression scale scores were significantly lower (P<0.05, P<0.01), and the occurrence of complications such as pain and gastrointestinal reaction was significantly reduced (P<0.05).Conclusion Continuous care service can improve the self-care ability of patients with instillation , reduce anxiety and depression level , reduce complications , improve the quality of life, and can be clinically applied .
