Abstract:Objective To investigate the correlation between the expression of miR-26a-5p and the clinicopathological features of diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL),and to illuminate the significance of miR-26a-5p in the development of DLBCL.Methods The paraffin-embedded tissues of reactive hyperplasia (RH) lymph node and DLBCL were preserved by the department of pathology in the First Affiliated Hospital of Dali University.Sixteen cases of RH and 41 cases of DLBCL were selected in this study. The expression of miR-26a-5p was assessed by real-time fluorescence quantitative reverse transcription polymerase chain.Immunohistochemistry was performed to measure the expression of CD10,MUM1,Bcl-6,and Ki-67 in DLBCL.Analysis of the correlations between miR-26a-5p and clinicopathological features or related proteins were further performed. Results The expression of miR-26a-5p was down-regulated in DLBCL.In total of 41 cases,Ki-67 was positively expressed in 27 cases, and the expression of miR-26a-5p was negatively correlated with the expression of Ki-67.Twenty cases were in the group of Ann Arbor Stage Ⅰ-Ⅱ,and the others were in the group of Ann Arbor stage Ⅲ-Ⅳ.The expression of miR-26a-5p was negatively correlated with tumor stage. Conclusion miR-26a-5p may play as a tumor suppressor gene in DLBCL.The low expression of miR-26a-5p may indicate the malignant progression of DLBCL.
