Abstract:Objective To study the effect of Asia Pacific Society of Infection Control (APSIC) guidelines on the prevention of catheter-related blood stream infection (CRBSI) in ICU.Methods We design the intervention program combined the actual situation of the ICU based on the APSIC guidelines.From June 2016 to December 2016, 139 cases in the experimental group and 127 cases in the control group were random selected according to the requirements.This effect on CBRSI was analyzed.Results There was no significant difference in complete diagnosis of CRBSI (P=0.248), venous thrombosis (P=0.338) or other complications (P=0.138) between the 2 groups;but significant difference in suspected CRBSI (P=0.022).Conclusion In this study, complications of central venous catheters were without significantly improvement
