Analysis of clinic features of asthma patients with fungal sensitization

Abstract：Objective To analyze the clinic features of asthma patients with fungal sensitization .Methods Ser-um fungal special IgE test and/or the skin prick test were carried out in enrolled patients .The clinical data was analyzed . The patients which were divided into fungal sensitization group ( n=26, Group A) and fungal sensitization free group (n=86, Group B).Results The age of Group A was significantly lower than that of Group B (P=0.004).The severe asthma ratio patients in the Group A was significantly higher than that of Group B (P=0.032).The ratio of accompanied multifarious allergens in Group A was also signfiicantly higher than that of Group B (P<0.001).There was no significant difference in the ratio of gender , amalgamate allergic rhinitis and/or allergic dermatitis , the serum total IgE level , count of eosinophil and FEV1%between the two groups (P>0.05).Conclusion Fungus is a common allergen in asthma .Fun-gal sensitization asthma patients are younger and with higher morbidity in severe station .And they are often sensitive to va-rious allergens .
