Abstract:Objective To study the dose-effect of one finger pushing manipulation with different frequency on vertigo. Methods Thirty -seven patients with acute cervical vertigo were randomly divided into Group A (60 -100 times/minute) and Group B (120-160 times/minute).On condition that manipulation was controlled well , changes of the score for vertigo intensity , and the final effect after treatment were investigated .Results There were significant differ-ences within the two groups before and after treatment (P<0.05).There were significant differences in the score for ver-tigo intensity and final effect between the 2 groups ( P<0.05) .Conclusion The frequency of one finger pushing manip-ulation is not the sooner the better , low frequency has better anti -vertigo effect than high frequency .
