Abstract:Objective To investigate the effects of home -based exercise training on the phase Ⅲ exercise -based cardiac rehabilitation. Methods A total of 60 post PCI patients with coronary atherosclerotic heart disease were en-rolled in the study, among whom 30 patients in control group and 30 patients in exercise group.Health education, reason-able diet, behavior intervention, evidence -based medication and psychological interventions were given to all patients. In exercise group, additional exercise prescriptions were given for 12 weeks. The blood tests, 6 -minute walk test and cardi-ac function were recorded before and after treatment for comparison. Results After 3 months home -based exercise train-ing, the patients in exercise group had significantly lower plasma levels of LDL -C [( -0.16 ±0.45)mmol/L vs.(0.26 ± 0.49)mmol/L, P <0.05].After rehabilitation, the patients in exercise group had significant increased in LVEF[(61.54 ± 9.29)% vs.(58.76 ±10.22)%, P <0.05] and 6 -minute walk distance [(499.2 ±45.0)m vs.(468.3 ±57.8)m, P <0.05], and the differences were significantly differed with control group (P <0.0%).Conclusion Home -based exercise training has positive effects on the phase Ⅲ cardiac rehabilitation in post PCI patients with coronary atherosclerotic heart disease.
