Effects of Interleukin-32 on HBV expression of HepG2 2.15 cells

Abstract：Objective To investigate whether Inteleukin -32 (IL-32) could inhibit HBV expression in HepG2 2.15 cells.Methods Different concentrations of IL -32 (0-0.8 μg/mL) protein were added to the culture media of HepG2 2.15 cells.Forty-eight hours later , cell culture supernatants were collected .HBV DNA load was assessed by re-al-time PCR.HBsAg and HBeAg expressions were detected by ELISA .Results IL-32 inhibited HBV copy of HepG 2 2.15 cells, and inhibited expressions of HBsAg and HBeAg in a dose -dependent elevation manner .Conclusion IL-32 might inhibit HBV expression in HepG2 2.15 cells.We, therefore, believe that IL-32 could play an anti -HBV role.
