The effects on platelet aggregation in ischemic stroke patients with the combination of aspirin and Dengzhan- Xixin injection

Abstract：Objective To observe the effects on platelet aggregation in ischemic stroke patients with the combina -tion of aspirin and Dengzhan Xixin injection .Methods A total of 211 patients with ischemic stroke were selected .The platelet aggregation ratio induced by adenosine diphosphate ( ADP) and arachidonic acid ( AA) were detected before and after the treatment with the combination of combination aspirin and Dengzhan Xixin injection for (7 ±3) days.Results Both of the platelet aggregation ratios induced by ADP and AA were significantly reduced after treatment (P<0.05).Mo-reover, the platelet aggregation ratio in some patients non -sensitive to aspirin was induced aspirin sensitive (P=0.00). Conclusion The combination of aspirin and Dengzhan Xixin injection can cooperate to reduce the platelet aggregation ra -tio in patients with ischemic stroke , and can be helpful to alleviate aspirin resistance .
