Influences of KTH integrated nursing intervention on the self-efficacy in patients with hypertension in community

Abstract：Objective To investigate the influences of the KTH integrated nursing intervention on the self-effi-cacy in patients with hypertension in community, thus providing evidences for improving hypertension self-management ability.Methods A hundred hypertension patients were randomly sampled from 4 communities of Xinxiang City as re-search subjects.They were randomly divided into intervention group (50 cases) and control group (50 cases).The inter-vention group was given with KTH integrated community intervention and the control group was given with routine commu-nity health education.The self -efficacy was measured before and after the intervention.Results The self -efficacy scores of patients in two groups were significantly improved after intervention ( P<0.05) , while it was significantly more prominent in intervention group ( P<0.05) .Conclusion The KTH integrated nursing intervention can improve the self-efficacy of in patients with hypertension and strengthen their self-management level.
