A clinical study on plasma alpha granule membrane protein-140 and von willebrand factor levels in patients with chronic pulmonary heart disease
Abstract:Objective To study the activation of platelets in vivo and endothelial in patients with chronic pulmonary heart disease. Methods Plasma alpha granule membrane protein-140(GMP-140) and von willebrand factor (vWF) levels were determined by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay in cor pulmonale exacerbation, cor pulmonale remission stage and in normal control. Results The levels of GMP-140 and vWF in cor pulmonale exacerbation and remission stage were significantly higher than that of normal control group. And the levels of plamsa GMP-140 and vWF in corpulmonals exacerbation were higher than that in remission stage. Conclusion Enhanced active action of platelets and injury in vascular endothlial juries may participate in the formation and progression of pulmonary heart disease.
