Abstract：Objective To search for a better method for treatment of traumatic optic neuropathy.Methods Seventeen cases were treated by transnasal endoscopic sphenoethmoidal optic canal decompression.Results The visual acuity in 10 cases was improved from NLP,HM,CF/50cm,HM,NLP,LP,NLP,HM,NLP,HM to 0.2,0.3,0.3,0.4,0.06,0.3,0.1,0.7,0.12,0.8 after the operation.Hypoactivity of eyeball was recovered in 4 cases.Conclusion Transnasal endoscopic sphenoethmoidal optic canal decompression is a better method for treatment of post-traumatic optic neuropathy.
