Abstract:Objective To study the mechanisms of multidrug resistance in renal cell carcinoma with low dose of (Cyclospori A, CsA) of lower dose. Methods Low dose of CsA was used to reverse the resistance to Adriamycin(ADM) and Vincristine(VCR) on renal cell carcinoma RCC 925 cell line in vitro with MTT technique. The expression of P glycoprotein(Pgp) was analyzed by flow cytometry before and after the reversal of multidrug resistance in RCC 925 cell carcinoma. Results Low dose of CsA ( ≤1 mg/L) could reverse the resistance to ADM and VCR in RCC 925 cell line. CsA could increase the expression of Pgp in renal cell carcinoma RCC 925 cell line. Conclusion CsA within human tolerance dose can reverse the resistance to ADM and VCR in RCC 925 cell line, which is related to Pgp expression.
