Analysis of Pathogenic Factors and Comprehensive Prevention and Control Measures of Salpingitis in Laying Hens

Abstract:Salpingitis is a common multiple disease during the laying period,which can lead to a decline in the laying rate,with symptoms including the absence of an laying peak period,deterioration in eggshell quality,and a decrease in egg quality.The etiological factors contributing to salpingitis are complex,mainly associated with pathogenic bacterial infections,inappropriate feeding management,nutritional deficiencies,substandard environmental hygiene,and disease prevention and control strategies.Starting from the hazards of salpingitis,this article outlines the potential pathogenic factors,and proposes comprehensive measures that need to be taken in the production management process of laying hens,in order to provide a reference for peers in the laying hen industry to effectively prevent and control salpingitis.
