Abstract:Soybean antigenic proteins represent the primary allergens triggering allergic reactions in animals.Upon ingestion, these proteins compromise the intestinal antioxidant capacity of aquatic species, damage intestinal tissue structure, induce inflammatory response, and impair mucosal barrier function.Consequently, they suppress growth and development in aquatic animals, thereby limiting the application of soybean protein source in compound feeds for aquaculture. This review systematically examines the antinutritional effects of soybean antigenic proteins on aquatic animals and discusses potential mitigation strategies. The findings provide a theoretical support for enhancing the utilization efficiency of soybean protein, optimizing compound formulations, and reducing feed costs in aquatic animal production.
