Abstract：As a Gram-positive probiotic capable of producing short-chain fatty acids such as butyric acid and acetic acid,Clostridium butyricum has shown significant potential in improving feed utilization,promoting digestion and absorption,supporting growth and development,improving intestinal health,and enhancing antioxidant capacity and immunity.This paper provides a comprehensive review of the application of Clostridium butyricum in livestock,poultry,and aquaculture,focusing on its effects on animal growth,immunity,antioxidant capacity,and intestinal health in order to provide a theoretical basis for practical production.
