Study on the Occurrence Patterns of Ketosis in Dairy Cows based on Dairy Herd Improvement Data

Abstract：In order to explore the use of DHI(Dairy Herd Improvement,DHI)data to analyze the occurrence patterns of ketosis in cows,this article conducted an in.depth analysis of the DHI measurement data,lactation stages,and seasons of a cattle herd in a large ranch in the south of China for a production year.The results indicate that in the early lactation stage,the incidence of ketosis is higher in the third and fourth quarters,β-Hydroxybutyric acid has the strongest correlation with lactose,while acetone has the strongest correlation with urea nitrogen.
