Abstract：With the development of the animal husbandry and veterinary medicine and the improvement of people's health level,nucleic acid testing plays an increasingly important role,and point-of-care testing in veterinary practice becomes an urgent requirement.Recombinase polymerase amplification(RPA)and recombinase-aided amplification(RAA)are nucleic acid isothermal amplification techniques developed in recent years,which can be combined with various techniques such as lateral flow chromatography to achieve rapid detection at constant temperature.Compared to traditional methods such as PCR,they have the advantages of simple and fast operation,less cross contamination,no need for large instruments,simple and clear result determination,and being conducive to grassroots applications.Therefore,they have been widely used in the veterinary field.This article provides a review of the development and application of RPA and RAA technologies in the veterinary field.
