Abstract：Due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and new form of consumer preferences the reality of"feather to meat"transformation in yellow-feathered broilers has become an inevitable trend.Consequently,improving carcass uniformity has become an urgent issue in current yellow-feathered broilers industry.Carcass uniformity is the key parameter in both the broilers production and food processing industries,it is also a critical reference of meat quality and market competitiveness.Particularly for yellow-feathered broilers,carcass uniformity stands as a key indicator for slaughter qualification rate,making it an economically significant trait in high demand in the market.This report aims to explore the pivotal factors affecting broiler carcass uniformity and summarize the latest research developments in this field.It offers theoretical insights to broilers industry,especially those focusing on yellow-feathered broilers,seeking to enhance product quality and qualification rates.This knowledge facilitate the transition from live chickens to chilled and frozen meat processing,ultimately boosting market competitiveness and increasing profit margins while establishing a strong brand presence in the yellow-feathered broiler industry.
