Determination of Itraconazole in Dogs Plasma by HPLC
Abstract:Pharmacokinetics ofitraconazole injection was studied in healthy dogs. Subcutaneous injection was administrated to six dogs in a dose of 4mg/kg and the plasma concentration of itraconazole was detected by HPLC. The data was analyzed with 3p97 computer program. The results showed that the linearity was obtained over the range of 10-1000ng/mL and the recovery was 86.9%, 88.4% or 89.2% when the addition concentration of itraconazole was 10 ng/mL/, 100 ng/mL or 500 ng/mL respectively. The RSD was 2.8% , 1.2% or 0.2% respectively. It was concluded that the method was simple, accurate and reliable, and could be used for the pharmacokinetic studies ofitraconazole in dogs.
