The influence of sterilized regular chicken feeds and sterilized special feeds for SPF chickens on the jelly-like situation of serum
Abstract：The ordinary chicken feeds and special feeds for SPF chickens were sterilized with high pressure steam or irradiated by cobalt-60.The autoclaved results and nutrients index were analyzed to discuss the causes for the jelly-like situation of serum.The results showed that the protein content and the fat content in sterilized ordinary chicken feeds were 2.94% higher or 2.48% higher than those in the special feeds for SPF chickens and vitamin B1 in multivitamins would decrease after steam sterilization.The jelly-like situation of serum would happen after the chickens were fed with sterilized ordinary chicken feeds and multivitamins.
