On the Climatological Variation Characteristics of Low Temperature in Fogang from 1960 to 2019

Abstract：Using years of minimum temperature data from a national station in Fogang from 1960 to 2019,this paper studied the climatological variation characteristics of low temperature for the 60 years of in-terest by employing the methods of linear regression,multinomial curve fitting,Mann-Kendall abruptness a-nalysis and Morlet wavelet analysis.The results are shown as follows.For Fogang,low temperature mainly occurs from December to the following February in the 60 years studied.The number of low temperature days and the duration of low temperature show a significantly decreasing and shortening trend respectively,both of which having a decreasing abrupt change in the mid-1980s.The shortening of low temperature duration is mainly caused by the postponement of the annually first low-temperature date and the advancement of the an-nually last low-temperature date.Both the number of low temperature days and the duration of low tempera-ture oscillate periodically at five to eight years and quasi-30 years.
