Abstract：Based on series of climate data for 47 years inShenzhen,severe climate events of catastrophe and their variations were analyzed,which include cold frost,long last raining,thund6rstorrns,droughts and typhoons,and may occur once in 8-10 years.Maximum entropy spectrum analysis was used to study periodic oscillations in the climate series.In the meantime,those severe hazardous weather events were briefly analysed.
