Abstract:The incidence of papillary thyroid cancer(PTC)is increasing year by year, and accurate preoperative diagnosis plays a crucial role in clinical management and prognosis.Contrast-enhanced ultrasound is a non-invasive,real-time imaging technique that enhances tissue contrast through intravenous injection of ultrasound contrast agents, dynamically displaying microcirculation perfusion information of lesions and enabling qualitative and quantitative analysis. The integration of Contrast-enhanced ultrasound with novel technologies such as radiomics and deep learning holds promising potential in early disease diagnosis and treatment evaluation. This article reviews the principles of thyroid contrast-enhanced ultrasound, the application of contrast-enhanced ultrasound in the diagnosis of PTC,the evaluation of PTC treatment effects, and the research on related new technologies in contrast-enhanced ultrasound. It aims to provide guidance for the precise diagnosis and treatment practice of PTC.
