Abstract:Lung cancer is the second most common type of cancer worldwide, accounting for 11.4%of all new cases and 18.0%of all cancer-related deaths.Early detection, diagnosis and timely treatment are essential to reduce the mortality rate of lung cancer. Thanks to the continuous progress of molecular imaging,a variety of molecular imaging probes have been widely used in the early screening, diagnosis, treatment and prognosis assessment of lung cancer, and remarkable results have been achieved. This review focuses on the mechanism, target and application of 18F-FDG,the most widely used molecular imaging probe, and the novel non-FDG molecular imaging probe in clinical practice, aiming to provide valuable reference for the future development and application of molecular probes in the diagnosis and treatment of lung cancer.
