Abstract:Gastric cancer(GC) is one of the most common malignant tumors in the digestive system. In recent years, with the improvement of clinical diagnosis and treatment, the 5-year survival rate of gastric cancer has a significant upward trend, but the prognosis of advanced gastric cancer is still not ideal. Therefore, understanding the molecular mechanism of gastric cancer and finding new molecular targets becomes the key to the treatment of gastric cancer. In this paper, the recent studies on the effect of long noncoding RNA Gas5 on the carcinogenesis and development of gastric cancer by regulating the expression of miRNA in patients with gastric cancer were summarized. The expression of LncRNA Gas5 in gastric cancer and the main research progress of its effect on miRNA were pointed out. The clinical significance of this process in the growth, proliferation, metastasis and prognosis of gastric cancer was discussed.
