Application of Law of Interia in spectral problems of unbounded and self-adjoint operators

Abstract：This paper investigated some applications of Sylvester's Law of Inertia in solving spectral problems of unbounded and self-adjoint operators,and some examples were also presented in teaching the spectrum theory of functional analysis.
