Experimental study of expansion and contraction characteristics of sand-bentonite-gypsum mixture

Abstract：In this paper, sand and bentonite gypsum expansion model test material is selected to study swelling shrinkage characteristics and deformation mechanism of expansive materials through free swelling shrinkage deformation and swelling force test. The conclusion of sand bentonite gypsum expansive material in water swelling, shrinkage and fatigue attenuation is obtained, which provides reference for further study of swelling shrinkage deformation mechanism, fissure and over consolidation property of expansive soil.
