The patent analysis of smart wearable devices in the medical area

Abstract：In recent years, the wearable technology developed rapidly, especially played an important role in the medical area. This paper is about patent analysis of wearable device in the medical area, through the search of the Patent Database of China’s General Administration of Intellectual Property; the situation of patent application of the smart wearable devices in the medical field was analyzed. The analysis of annual trend, the major national/regional distribution, the technical distribution and also the main competitor’s competitive strength reveal the innovation status of global smart wearable devices in the medical field.
