It is built by principal component analysis the comprehensive business performance model and calculated the comprehensive performance index for city commercial banks. Relevant regression model is also established through the panel data. The results show that: 1)the degree of state-owned holding of urban commercial banks and the proportion of the top 10 shareholders are negatively related to the operating performance; 2)the size of the board of directors has a positive impact on bank performance, independent directors did not play its supervisory role of independent directors; 3)senior management accounting for business performance has a positive effect on the bank. Improving the proportion of shareholding directors is helpful to the improvement of business performance. Finally, some suggestions are put forward to the management of the city commercial banks.
