Investigation on heavy metal pollution in vegetable fields in suburb of Foshan City, Guangdong Province

Abstract：To investigate heavy metal pollution status of vegetable fields, we detected the content of lead, chromium, cadmium and nickel in Foshan suburb. The results showed the content of four kinds of metal weren't reach the pollution level, only 6 cadmium samples had a slightly higher content(>1 mg/kg, generally considered non-contaminated soil content less than 1 mg/kg).
