The evaluation of WeChat group for nursing electronic medical record writing and quality control in the department of orthopaedics

Abstract：Objective To explore the evaluation of WeChat group for nursing electronic medical record writing and quality control in the department of orthopaedics.Two-hundred orthopedics nursing electronic medical records which using traditional methods to do the quality control were randomly collected into control group from March 2017 to May 2017.Methods Two-hundred orthopedics nursing electronic medical records were randomly collected into intervention group, which do the quality control with WeChat group on the basis of traditional methods from June 2017 to August 2017. The rate of writing deficit for nursing electronic medical record and scores of writing quality were compared between control group and intervention group.Results The rate of writing deficit in the temperature records, doctor's advice records,admission nursing assessment forms and nursing records for intervention group were lower than that for control group (p<0.01). The score of writing quality in intervention group were significantly higher than that in control group (p<0.01).Conclusions WeChat group for nursing electronic medical record writing and quality control in the department of orthopaedics can effectively reduce the rate of medical records writing deficit and improve the writing quality of medical records.
