Contrastive analysis on the attack ability of the Top 8 Men’s Football Competition in 2015 Asian Cup

Abstract：Methods of Rank Sum Ratio are used in the paper for the quantitative analysis about the attack ability of the eight teams in the 2015 Asian Cup. The result shows that among the top 8 men’s football teams, Australia gets the highest level on attack ability, while Iran and Uzbekistan are in the lowest position. the RSR figures in attack have certain correlation related to their own place in 2015 Asian cup.The teams can be divided into four classes by the offensive capability. Australia is in the superior class, they own the outstanding attack ability in 2015 Asian cup. the United Arab Emirates and Japan belong to the second level, China, South Korea, and Iraq team’s offensive capability are weak relatively, in middle lower level. According to the statistics of the offensive indicators of this tournament, we can understand the characteristics and deficiencies of their respective teams in Asia, moreover, in order to provide reference for the analysis of the current development of the Asian Football in the attack.
