Abstract：Oil-water separator is commonly used in organic chemistry experiment. It plays an important part in organic synthesis. The paper introduces its latest types, operating requirements, using method and applications of synthetic ester compounds, aldehyde acetal, ketol, acylamide, quinones, imidazoline, polymers, etc.
