Abstract：This paper discusses the security risk of winding machine and defects of existing protection technology, a coiling machine protection system is developed. According to operator’s hand position and danger level, the device intelligently slows down the winding mechanism in order to protect the operator. The winding machine safety protection device with advantages of intelligence,low cost, small volume, precise control, etc. has good economic benefit and vast development prospects.
