Parametric design and implementation of dental implants by using unigraphics

Abstract：Parametric design technology has become one of the most important design methods in the process of product design. Using the expression and through the multiple sets of parameters and constraints to define the shape feature of dental implants, parametric design was put forward for abutment, implant and screw by means of the Unigraphics software, and a three-dimensional parametric modeling of dental implants was created as well. It was provided with great significance for the development of a new type of dental implants, and the design of the most appropriate custom-made dental implants depended on the actual situation of tooth root for different patients.
