Abstract:Because some positioning bars are not installed in place, after prestressed tension, the bursting cracks occurred in the mid-span bottom slab of a long-span continuous bridge under the effect of prestressed radial force. This thesis puts forward the reinforcement scheme for this cracking phenomenon, and uses ANSYS to build the partial models of this bridge. The force condition of the bottom and roof beams which need repair were simulated and computational analysis at different stages in the design of reinforcement to determine the reinforcement scheme is feasible and effective.
