Resistant substance in different organs of Bauhinia flower under adversity

Abstract：Under the stress conditions stimulated with different temperature, through resistance index of the SOD, POD, flavonoids and proline, the Bauhinia flower development and pod development were studied in performance of substance content in different parts of the organ. The results showed that: in the flower development process, petal contained high SOD, flavonoids, proline, calyx had high POD activity. In the pod development, green pod had strong activity of SOD, while old pod had high content of POD, flavonoids and proline. On the whole, there is less proline content in petals, less SOD, POD, flavonoids in seeds.
