Abstract:This paper studies the morphological information of the submandibular gland, to provide anatomical data for curing severe dry eye by denervation transplantating of autologous submandibular. Dissect 10 cases of normal adult head and neck , under the operating microscope anatomy of bilateral via common carotid artery perfusion red latex specimens, and detect the morphology data. The size of submandibular gland is: length (3.10 ± 0.58 cm), width (1.82±0.20 cm), thickness (1.49±0.41 cm); The front end of the inside submandibular gland passed through the submandibular gland duct. The duct length is 4.6± 0.5cm and the diameter is 3.0 ± 0.9 mm. Surface artery, lingual artery and chin artery etc are the main nutrition artery for the submandibular gland artery. The most important blood supply of the submandibular gland artery is the facial artery, and facial vein is the main backflow of blood vessels for submandibular gland. The test data is valueable for curing severe dry eye by denervation transplantating of autologous submandibular in this paper.
