Abstract:The contents of heavy metals Cu, Zn, Pb, Ni and Cr in sediment of Lanhe River were measured. On the basis, the correlating analyse and the indexes of geography accumulation of five heavy metal elements were analyzed. The results indicated that the sediment of Lanhe River had been seriously polluted by heavy metals. The total amount of five heavy metal elements reached 3 710.38~11 143.02 mg/kg and it showed the order of Zn, Cu, Ni, Cr, Pb. Correlation analysis among Cu, Ni and Cr showed the significant relation to each other, so these three heavy metal elements had a greater possibility to have come from the same source. The order of the enrichment degree of five heavy metals was Cu, Ni, Zn, Pb, Cr. The pollution characteristic of multi-metals in research region was mainly related to Cu.
